STATIC LINE - Parachute training

Your first solo jump starts here.

Static Line skydiving training is preparation and training for a solo jump from a height of 1200 meters and is organized once a month, usually on weekends.

Theoretical training is here to prepare you for everything you will need on your first solo jump and usually lasts six hours. It includes learning about parachute equipment, parachute control, flying rules (traffic pattern), and emergency procedures in case of aircraft or parachute failure.

When you finish the theoretical part and successfully pass the testing of acquired knowledge, it is time for the first solo jump from 1200m. And even though it is called solo - Instructors will be with you all the time in different segments of preparation and jumping out of the plane.

How does the training work?

First of all, during the preparation, instructors are there to help you adjust the equipment properly and to check every part of the parachute before the jump. There is an instructor in the plane with you all the time, responsible for helping you exit the plane adequately, go through all the previously learned procedures, and after his signal, to let yourself go into the blue sky. The parachute is connected by a cord (harness) to the plane, which automatically opens the parachute as soon as you release from the aircraft's strut. After the parachute opens, a third instructor will be connected to your radio station (previously attached and checked on the ground) and he will be there all the time to correct you and help you orient yourself better from the air. You will land, and after two hours when your brain starts processing the experience, you will realize that you are now part of the skydiving family!

In the further training plan, each subsequent jump is one exercise. Once you complete the assigned exercise, you move on to the next one. A total of 25 successfully completed exercises are required in order to qualify to apply for the first parachute license exam and then truly say, "I am a solo skydiver."

The progression of jumps changes gradually. After the first few jumps, during which you are just getting used to the plane, proper separation from the plane, and parachute control, there are several "simulation" jumps, during which you practice body position during separation from the plane. You will pull the practice parachute handle that simulates the canopy opening, while in reality the parachute will still open by itself. After a few successful simulations, you will be ready for the real jump - from 1500 meters, counting three seconds before opening the parachute independently.

Once you have mastered solo parachute opening, you are ready for the final part of the training - free fall. You will increase the jump altitude to 3500 meters and develop free fall skills. The initial task is to fly stable on your belly, and later you will progress to performing turns, controlling the rate of descent, and even flips (forward or backward).

After 25 successful exercises mastering all skills, you will be ready for the final step towards the A license - your first skydiving exam!

Theoretical training with the first jump

The price of the Static Line training includes theoretical and practical training, rental of parachute equipment, and the first jump from a height of 1200 m. As there is a further training plan until the first parachute license, the prices of other jumps depend on the altitude and range from 50 to 80 EUR.

Other Parachute Training

With the hardest task being to reach free fall, instead of gradually increasing the height, there are two types of parachute progressions that introduce you to the sky in a precise and safe manner.
